Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance coverage, and gather necessary intake information to facilitate smooth check-in processes
- Schedule appointments efficiently.
- Verify insurance benefits and perform insurance verifications, including Medicare and Medicaid, to confirm patient coverage and eligibility
- Manage patient records with accuracy by reviewing documentation, updating medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
- Coordinate treatment plans by communicating effectively with clinicians and patients to ensure understanding of care instructions and follow-up requirements
- Handle multi-line phone systems professionally, providing excellent customer service while addressing patient inquiries and appointment scheduling needs
