Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Resident Technician is responsible for overseeing and supporting the daily operations of resident care at our board and lodge facility. This role includes assisting residents with their needs, fostering a safe and positive environment, meal preparation, and light housekeeping tasks to ensure overall well-being of residents.
Location: In-person, 220 Olive St W, Stillwater MN 55082
Hours: 16 hours per week
Schedule Overview:
Evening: Saturday & Sunday, fixed days, 3pm-11pm
Pay: Starting $18.00/per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of resident behaviors, needs, and any notable changes.
- Responsible for administering resident medications and adhering to all medication administration protocols.
- Manage incoming calls, provide accurate information, and ensure timely communication between staff, residents, and external contacts.
- Meal preparation
- Knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
- Confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee and operations data.
- Quality Assurance with all regulatory requirements.
- Supports and participates in common teamwork:
- Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
- Use tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
- Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns.
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
- Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.
- Attends all monthly mandatory employee meetings.
- Will coordinate with on-call administrative personnel regarding any non-emergency situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently.
- Shows compassion and truly enjoys supporting people.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and adhere to ethical standards.
- Ability to assist in client self-administration of medication
- Must be able to pass a background check.
