Job Summary
Here at Arroyo Physical Therapy, we work with our patients one-on-one only utilizing licensed staff. We see general orthopedics and post-ops as well as a diverse neurological patient population from Strokes, TBI, Parkinsons, MS, and Vestibular. We are looking for Physical Therapy Assistants who are compassionate and are willing to progress our patients to their goals!

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and functional activities to promote mobility and pain relief.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment used in physiotherapy sessions, ensuring safety and proper functioning.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and adjust interventions accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on physiotherapy techniques, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and adhere to all healthcare regulations related to medical documentation and patient confidentiality.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices.
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other soft tissue mobilization methods.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation and discharge planning processes.
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
