Gold Mech Inc. is looking for Millwrights to join our team in Augusta, GA.
Job Summary
The Millwright will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all process equipment and machinery while optimizing processing and reducing equipment downtime by performing predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery.
Essential Duties
- Mechanical repair and installation of process equipment
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance procedures; greasing, oiling, changing filters, equipment inspections, etc.
- Capable of welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication.
- Complete work orders and other maintenance documentation.
- Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
- Trouble shoot equipment and determine root cause analysis.
- Identify all tools required for tasks.
- Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
- Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required
4+ years as a Millwright preferred
Trained and qualified to operate machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, fork lifts, etc.
Requires proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. May act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and regularly provides guidance to others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
