'The candidate must be at least 21 years old, have the OLCC workers permit, be enthusiastic, and ready to work in the Oregon Cannabis industry. We are looking for a reliable, multi-tasking, dynamic person that possesses strong leadership skills, great customer service, and a positive attitude. This position requires leading the day-to-day operations of the store, maintaining compliance, communication with the management team, inventory management, and whatever else is needed to ensure that the store is running seemlessly.
This position requires different time availability, whereas some shifts will include nights, weekends and certain holidays.
Please note that this position requires compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of marijuana products. Prior experience or knowledge of marijuana laws and regulations is preferred but not required.
Day to day duties of this position includes, but are not limited to:
- Oversee all store operations: opening/closing, cash handling, POS, scheduling, and staff supervision.
- Ensure strict compliance with Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) rules, local ordinances, and company policies.
- Train, coach, and evaluate budtenders and support staff; build a positive, safety-focused workplace culture.
- Manage inventory, receiving, product merchandising, loss prevention, and regular inventory audits.
- Monitor sales metrics, set targets, and implement promotions to meet financial goals.
- Work with upper management wherever needed to support the growth of the store.
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure retail environment; coordinate maintenance and vendor relations.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure high-quality, informed customer experiences.
- Prepare and submit required reports, maintain accurate records, and support audits and inspections.

Skills
Required skills but not limited to:
- 2+ years retail management experience, preferably in cannabis or regulated retail.
- Strong knowledge of Oregon cannabis laws and OLCC compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership and staff development skills.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and cash reconciliation.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
- Must be 21+.
