Patrol Officer job description:
The job description for FT Security Patrol Officer primary responsibility is vehicle access control and vehicle patrol. Allied Universal Security/Patrol PT Flex Gated Community Officer is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, your role will involve utilizing core skills in security and conflict management while providing excellent customer service. Your premium skills in first aid, law enforcement, and surveillance will enhance your effectiveness in this position. Additionally, your relevant expertise in CCTV and loss prevention will contribute to the overall safety and satisfaction of the community you serve.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the gated community to ensure the safety and security of residents and property.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting residents and addressing their concerns.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities and prevent loss.
- Investigate all suspicious and criminal activity
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to maintain a secure environment.
*CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED*
PATROL WEEKLY SCHEDULE: 32 HOURS
THURSDAY & FRIDAY 8:00AM - 4:00PM
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 12:00AM - 8:00AM
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior security, patrol, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Present a professional image
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service experience is essential.
- Ability to remain professional, calm, and attentive in a high-paced environment.
- Knowledge of conflict management, surveillance, and basic security procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
