We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our opening hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. As the first point of contact for our visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences at our hotel or resort. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to meet guest needs and maintain hotel standards.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while managing incoming calls.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the front desk operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience front desk operations is preferred
- Marriott experience a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices is beneficial
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and basic office software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, Holidays as needed in a resort environment
