Sage Construction is a growing South Louisiana contractor performing a wide range of commercial, industrial, civil, utility, structural, and general construction work.
We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, willing to work hard, and interested in building a long-term career in construction estimating.
Previous estimating experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has construction knowledge, strong work habits, and the ability to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform material and quantity takeoffs
- Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Help prepare project estimates and proposals
- Attend pre-bid meetings and occasional site visits
- Assist with bid preparation, scope review, and subcontractor comparisons
- Work with project managers and field personnel to understand construction methods and costs
- Learn Sage Construction’s estimating process from experienced team members
- Help identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings

Helpful Experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required:

- Assistant project management
- Construction management

Recent graduates and experienced construction professionals are encouraged to apply.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
