As an Activities Aide at the Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Our interdisciplinary team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and services that enrich the lives of our residents.
About the Role:
Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical exercise for our residents.
Assist with the development and implementation of activity programs, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and special events.
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress to ensure effective evaluation and improvement of programs.
Collaborate with other care providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care and support.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (training provided).
Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and understanding approach to working with seniors.
