We are looking for Certified Medication Aide (CMA) on Nights!
JAG Healthcare has 45 beds, giving it a homelike feel for our residents. This quaint environment also provides our nurses the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their residents without rushing from one room to the next.

Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Administering oral, topical, and some scheduled medications (including insulin via pen) as delegated by an LPN or RN.
- Prohibition: CMAs cannot administer medications requiring calculations, inject medication (except insulin), or split pills.
- Monitoring: Observing residents for medication side effects, documenting administration, and monitoring resident conditions.
- Continuing Education: Must complete 15 hours of approved continuing education every renewal period, including 10 hours related to medication
Skills:
- Valid Ohio Certified Medication Aide Certification
- Valid Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Helpful with a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
- Must have a minimum of one year experience
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Background Check: Must not have a criminal record that disqualifies them from certification, per Ohio Laws.
