Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas, equipment, and surfaces are properly sanitized to meet food safety regulations.
Work Environment: This position involves working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures, humidity, and physically demanding tasks. Applicants should be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accomodation
Responsibilities:

- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Sanitize food processing equipment and work areas
- Follow established sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials properly
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any sanitation issues or potential hazards
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing sanitation duties
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective sanitation practices
Experience:
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of proper sanitation techniques in a food production or warehouse setting is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their safe usage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
