We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused professional to support inside sales, customer service, order management, and purchasing activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, coordinating production requirements, and helping ensure a seamless supply chain from order entry through shipment.
What You'll Do
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding orders, lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Process customer orders and issue order acknowledgments.
- Manage order status communications and ensure timely follow-up on customer requests.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and shipping teams to support on-time delivery.
- Purchase raw materials, tooling, and outside processing services.
- Obtain supplier quotations and place purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records in the company's ERP system.
- Support sales activities and help identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, purchasing, or order management.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
