Construction Manager - Lake Mountain School District
STARTING DATE: July 1, 2027
CONTRACT YEAR: 242 contract days, 24 vacation days
SALARY: 115,000 - $165,000 (Salary will be based on experience)
DESCRIPTION:
The Construction Manager oversees all phases of construction and renovation projects within the district. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with district standards and applicable regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and renovation projects for district facilities

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and school leadership

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Solicit and review bids, assist with contract negotiations

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Communicate project status to district leadership and stakeholders

Address and resolve project-related issues promptly

Maintain accurate records and prepare regular progress reports
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (preferred)

Minimum 5 years experience in construction project management (K-12 or public sector preferred)

Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and public procurement processes

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
