VECA Electric & Technologies has an opening for a Remote Project Accountant for our Mission Critical Division. The Project Accountant manages financial and compliance requirements on assigned projects.

Major Areas of Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly contract billings including various documentation required by each General Contractor (GC).
- Review and understand contractual billing requirements on jobs to ensure accurate and complete billings.
- Manage GC and subcontract lien waivers to ensure timely payment.
- Review job cost transactions and process cost transfers as needed.
- Work closely with Project Management teams to understand job progression and provide reporting as needed.
- Compile monthly substantiations including all supporting documents.
- Assist with compiling information for audit requests.

Qualifications
- 2-year college degree preferred
- 2-5 years’ project accounting experience
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Previous construction industry experience is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with Spectrum
Compensation & Benefits:
- Industry Leading Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
