As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious food that meet our high standards of quality and taste, while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of subs according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new idea varieties and seasonal ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in food preparation and handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or pizzeria setting, is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and dietary aide practices is a plus.
- Strong skills in food preparation, including the ability to work with various cooking equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
