A full-time Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Peridot, AZ for a contract assignment lasting 13 to 26+ weeks. This role offers the chance to utilize your inpatient hospital experience in a supportive environment that values flexibility and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, dispense, and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage medication inventories and restock automated dispensing systems, including Omnicell
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication administration
- Perform quality assurance checks and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide excellent customer service during evenings and weekends, adapting to shifting schedules between 8:00am-6:30pm and 10:30am-9:00pm shifts
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona State Pharmacy Technician license is required
- Demonstrated inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency working with Omnicell automated dispensing systems
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including flexible evenings and weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
