Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with menu planning and food presentation to enhance the dining experience.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines in handling food products.
- Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.
Skills
- Ability to clean and fillet fish.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment within the food service industry.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and menu planning is a plus.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of food quality.
