We're an award-winning specialty eye care practice in Katy, TX — and we're looking for someone who genuinely loves being the first friendly face a patient sees, and the calm, capable voice on the other end of the phone.
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF
- You love greeting people — you make patients feel welcome the moment they walk in
- You're unbothered by a ringing phone and a full waiting room — juggling both is second nature to you
- You're fluent in Spanish and English — many of our patients are most comfortable speaking Spanish, so this one's a must
- You take pride in the details — an organized front desk and an accurate schedule matter to you
- You're excited to grow beyond the front desk — we'll train you to help with eyewear, pre-testing, and contact lenses too
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES — FRONT DESK
- Greet patients and manage a busy, high-touch front desk
- Answer phones and handle a high call volume with patience and a smile
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Assist with insurance verification and administrative tasks
- Keep the front area organized, welcoming, and running smoothly
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES — CROSS-TRAINED SUPPORT
- Helping patients select eyewear that fits their face, lifestyle, and budget
- Pre-testing patients ahead of their exam
- Ordering contact lenses and assisting with patient supply needs
Every team member here is cross-trained across the practice — no optical or medical experience needed going in. We'll teach you the technical side. What we can't teach is a genuine care for people, and that's what we're really hiring for.
