Empire Trading US is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Compliance Specialist to support our growing e-commerce, distribution, shipping, and supply chain operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with documentation, tracking shipments, reviewing records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring logistics activities follow company procedures and applicable shipping requirements. The Logistics Compliance Specialist will work closely with warehouse teams, carriers, suppliers, and internal operations to maintain accurate records, minimize errors, and keep shipments moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Review shipping, receiving, and transportation documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Verify bills of lading, packing lists, manifests, invoices, delivery confirmations, and related records
- Monitor shipments and identify documentation, routing, delivery, or compliance issues
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and follow up on delays, exceptions, and discrepancies
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues
- Verify shipment quantities, product information, addresses, carrier details, and delivery requirements
- Maintain accurate digital and physical logistics records
- Ensure required shipping documentation is completed and properly maintained
- Assist with internal audits of shipping, inventory, and logistics records
- Investigate discrepancies, damaged shipments, missing documentation, and delivery exceptions
- Monitor carrier performance and identify recurring service or documentation issues
- Help maintain compliance with company policies, shipping procedures, and applicable transportation requirements
- Assist with freight invoices, shipping charges, and documentation needed for payment verification
- Maintain tracking information and update internal systems accurately
- Identify opportunities to reduce shipping errors, compliance risks, delays, and unnecessary costs
- Support warehouse and e-commerce operations during high-volume periods
- Communicate professionally with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal departments
- Assist with process improvements and development of more efficient logistics procedures
- Perform other compliance, logistics, and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, warehouse operations, supply chain, compliance, or e-commerce preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, shipments, and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Excel, spreadsheets, and business software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle operational documentation responsibly
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn new systems and procedures
- Previous compliance or audit experience is a plus but not required
