Assistant Property Manager Position – Top Property Management

As an Assistant Property Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, overseeing a diverse portfolio of rentals and delivering exceptional service every step. Whether you’re leading operations, solving complex issues, or collaborating with leasing and maintenance teams, your work will directly impact Tenant/Owner satisfaction and property performance.

What You’ll Be Doing, including but not limited to:
- Manage a large or high-complexity portfolio, managing daily operations with confidence and care
- Lead communication between Top Property Management, Tenants, Owners, vendors, and internal teams
- Support leasing and move-in/move-out processes, resolve escalations, and Tenant screenings
- Coordinate timely repairs and proactive maintenance to keep rentals in top shape
- Oversee late rent notices and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements
- Strengthen Tenant/Owner relationships through clear communication and a customer-first mindset
- Stay informed on local rental markets to help position our properties competitively
- Manage lease renewals, transfers, and evictions with professionalism and compliance
- Answering calls and emails
- Daily organization of files and documents.
- Communication between staff to make sure deadlines are met.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing residential properties, with a portfolio of 500+ units
- Active Real Estate License in Hawaii
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with APPFOLIO (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED required

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
