We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in casual dining, with a focus on food safety and meal preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in menu planning, contributing creative ideas for specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools, while following proper techniques.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in casual or fine dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
