Social Media & Content Coordinator
Job Description
ArtSkills, Inc. is seeking a creative, organized and highly motivated Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. ArtSkills is a family-owned national company rooted in the art, craft and consumer-products industries. We create products sold through major retailers and develop digital content supporting product launches, social media, e-commerce, retail partnerships and marketing campaigns.
The Social Media & Content Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day execution of ArtSkills’ social media channels while editing, repurposing and maximizing content produced by our internal team and external creators. Approximately 30% of the role will focus on maintaining the content calendar, scheduling, publishing and channel management. The remaining time will be dedicated to hands-on creative work, including producing quick-turn videos and photos, adapting existing assets, coordinating creator and affiliate content and supporting digital campaigns.
Working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing team and Video & Social Content Producer, this person will extend the value of original productions by creating alternate hooks, cutdowns and platform-specific versions. They will also own smaller, social-native content that can be developed and produced without a full-scale shoot.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who enjoys identifying compelling moments, experimenting with social formats and finding new ways to showcase products. Given available footage, campaign priorities and initial direction, they should be able to independently edit, repurpose and develop content through approval and publishing.
Social Media and Content Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos using new footage, existing assets and creator content.
- Contribute ideas for quick-turn, trend-based, behind-the-scenes and product-focused social content.
- Repurpose content into alternate hooks, cutdowns, compilations and platform-specific versions.
- Add captions, graphics, music, sound effects and product messaging.
- Write social captions, titles, descriptions and on-screen copy.
- Maintain the social media calendar and help identify upcoming content gaps.
- Schedule and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and other digital channels.
- Confirm that posts include accurate product information, links, tags and platform settings.
- Research social trends, formats and content opportunities relevant to ArtSkills products.
- Independently capture and edit simple, quick-turn social videos and photos, primarily using smartphones.
- Coordinate creator and affiliate outreach, product samples, follow-ups and content permissions.
- Organize incoming creator content and identify opportunities to repurpose it across ArtSkills channels.
- Monitor comments, messages and routine customer-service inquiries, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Organize footage, project files, finished content and usage information for future use.
- Maintain campaign trackers and assist with basic social media and creator-performance reporting.
- Support product launches, retail initiatives and seasonal campaigns by developing social cutdowns, adaptations and supplemental content.
- Manage multiple ongoing assignments and move work forward with limited day-to-day direction.
Required Qualifications

- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Canva or similar design software. Experience with Illustrator or After Effects is a plus.
- Ability to identify compelling moments within existing footage and turn them into concise, engaging social content.

- Basic experience capturing video and photos with a smartphone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
