Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare and serve high-quality food items efficiently, following safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha or Micros to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Upsell menu items to boost sales and maximize guest satisfaction through friendly recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist in food handling, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with kitchen operations or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous
