RoseVilla is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team!
The Staff Accountant support the daily financial operations of our community. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for cash management, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, payroll processing, month-end close activities, and regulatory compliance. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting operational efficiency and excellent service across the organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and strong internal controls.

Wage and benefits:
- Starting wage is $70,000-$79,000 per year, depending on experience.
- This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, exempt position

Education and experience requirements:
Required
- Associate’s degree in accounting or 5+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
Preferred:
- Experience in a CCRC, senior living, healthcare, or long-term care environment
- Experience with nonprofit accounting and fund accounting practices
- Experience supporting financial audits and regulatory reporting
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as Yardi, and Sage Intacct
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, financial analysis)
