Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring optimal operation of manufacturing and industrial equipment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring timely completion of routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, HVAC units, and low/high voltage equipment.
- Develop, implement, and manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Coordinate facility upgrades, repairs, and projects with internal teams or external vendors while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
- Conduct inspections of industrial machinery and infrastructure to identify potential issues before they cause downtime or safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical systems, high voltage areas, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history for continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience including low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting automation systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
- Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Project management capabilities to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects from start to finish.
- Skilled in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
