We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform collision repairs, including body panel replacement, dent removal, and structural repairs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish that matches the vehicle’s original color.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged parts efficiently.
- Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision to ensure safety and durability.
- Assess vehicle damage accurately using auto estimating tools and communicate repair plans clearly to customers.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, light repairs, and assembly of repaired parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards; assist with detailing and finishing touches for a polished appearance.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or experience working in an automotive body shop is highly preferred.
- Proven skills in auto body repair, auto painting, sheet metal work, welding (including MIG), and fabrication are essential.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service practices is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems enhances your ability to perform comprehensive repairs.
- Experience with auto restoration projects or working with heavy lifting equipment is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and auto glass installation techniques is required.
