Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their visit
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks to support smooth café operations
- Process cash and card payments efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies regularly to keep the café fully equipped for daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and transaction balancing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Basic cleaning skills to uphold health standards and maintain a tidy workspace
