Access Therapy Group is seeking a full time or a part time New York state licensed speech language pathologist to join our team to work with children in our Clifton Park clinic and/or in schools , preschools, and homes.
Candidates should have a passion for working with children and understand how to motivate and adjust to children's various behaviors and moods which may occur during their therapy sessions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting timely daily notes, billing , prescriptions, and evaluaitons to the Access Therapy managment team. Therapist will also be responsible for understanding the different paperwork and eligibility requirements for working in the different pediatric systems: insurance, Early Intervention(0-3 years) , School based with IEP's (5-21 years) , and CPSE (3-5 years).
Less experienced candidates will have direct access to speech therapy mentors with over 10 years of experience and also direct access to the owners of Access Therapy Group.
Access Therapy Group is a therapist owned, multidisciplinary practice, working with infants, children, and adults with disabilities. We provide PT, OT, and speech therapy in schools, homes, our clinic, daycares and through local programs serving children with disabilities.
