Job Summary
Join our dynamic Precision Machine Shop Ship/Rec department. Package and inspect parts in an Aerospace Precision Machine Shop. Verify incoming material and paperwork, some deburring. Maintain a clean and safe workstation, counting and staging for shipping/receiving of machined parts. Requires good math skills, computer skills including online UPS World Ship and Fed Ex, and forklift driving experience.
As a Ship/Rec handler, you will play a key role in efficient material flow and production deadlines within our manufacturing facility. Your role supports production by ensuring accurate material handling, accurate packaging, and adherence to quality standards. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely delivery of components to support on-time delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stage materials; maintain accurate material handling and inventory control.
- Inspect finished components for quality, report defects, and coordinate shipping needs.
- Print labels on-line with UPS Worls Ship and Fed Ex
- Print packing slips using our E2 Shop Systems
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace; monitor and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
