Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in all facets of hotel repair and maintenance. Our Maintenance engineer position will require a well developed attention to detail, meet weekly/monthly preventative maintenance goals and operate the department with an attention to urgency. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot opportunities throughout the hotel.
- Maintain and repair 82 guest rooms and all public areas with detailed reporting and efficiency.
- Utilization of basic maintenance power tools.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to resolve technical issues
- Work as a Team Player with Guest Services and Housekeeping departments to continue a smooth daily operation throughout the hotel.
-Communication skills and an "urgency of the moment" , multi-tasked individual is a requirement for a high level of success in this position.
- Fabricate parts and components as required
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times in every situation.
- Provide a kind, caring, passionate attitude while assisting guests and/or hotel team members.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with maintenance tools (including power tools)- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Background in an apartment/hotel environment is necessary to excel at this position.
- Ability to fabricate parts as necessary
