For the past 120 years, Miner Enterprises has been a leader in the supply of freight-car components to the railroad industry. We provide cutting edge, high quality products such as draft gears, side bearings, unloading systems, brake beams and hatch covers to all Class I and II railroads worldwide, freight car builders, private-car companies, leasing companies and contract freight car repair shops.
We are looking for a number of Summer temporary employees to work full time beginning now until the end of August. The Summer temporary position will be responsible for helping the Maintenance department with a variety of misc. tasks
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning, painting and organizing of various areas in the building.
- Installation of building signage as well as a variety of other miscellaneous projects, i.e. assembling cabinets or shelving
- Lawn maintenance, tree trimming, and general upkeep of the outdoor areas.
- Washing of company vehicles.
- Pick up of shop material as well as mail drop off and pick up.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED required, further education is highly recommended.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
