Job Summary
The Kennel Assistant will support the daily operations of a Doggie Daycare & Boarding facility center by providing essential care and assistance to animals in their temporary stay.
Duties
- Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, exercising, and cleaning kennels
- Monitor the behavior of dogs during play groups or one/one time
- Provide basic bathing services for dogs
- Assist with administering medications as directed by owners and Managers
- Interact with dog owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being and addressing any inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized kennel & play area
- Assist in socializing dogs
Qualifications
- Experience or interest in veterinary care, animal handling, or related field
- Knowledge of basic dog care practices and procedures
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with pet owners
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with dog care

- All employees must work some weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
