Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team and support our HR functions across the organization. In this vital role, you will assist with a wide range of HR activities, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS management. Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with recruiting processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms like iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday.
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions and onboarding procedures to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and records management within HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
- Assist with employee evaluation processes, performance management initiatives, and training & development programs to promote continuous growth.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans like Paychex or ADP.
- Support compliance efforts related to employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and other legal requirements.
- Contribute to employee relations by addressing inquiries professionally and managing conflict resolution processes effectively.
Experience
- Prior experience in human resources management or administrative roles supporting HR functions is preferred.
- Familiarity with human capital management systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian enhances effectiveness in data collection and workforce management tasks.
- Knowledge of recruiting tools like Salesforce or iCIMS for sourcing candidates and managing applicant pipelines is advantageous.
- Understanding of employment law principles including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication skills combined with project management experience will enable success in coordinating multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
