Occupational Therapist
Location: Grants, New Mexico
Pay Rate: $1,200 to $2,400/week
Contract: 12 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years acute care preferred
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for a 12-week contract opportunity in Grants, New Mexico. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient care, helping patients improve daily living skills, mobility, independence, functional ability, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Support ADL training, mobility, functional skills, lifts, splints, and adaptive device use
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safety, and care plans
Document therapy services accurately using Cerner and collaborate with the care team
Requirements
Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy License Required
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program required
NBCOT/OTR Certification Required
BLS/CPR Certification Required
Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required; acute care, inpatient, and outpatient experience preferred
