Customer Service / Sales Support Representative
Location: Lansing, MI
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service / Sales Support Representative to join a fast-paced team. This position provides administrative and sales support while ensuring exceptional customer service and accurate order processing.

Key Responsibilities

Support the sales team by providing information, reports, and customer assistance.

Manage customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.

Enter customer orders accurately and verify all order details.

Update and maintain customer records and profiles.

Process payments and utilize credit card authorization procedures when applicable.

Prepare daily, monthly, and sales tracking reports.

Compile data and assist with sales presentations.

Investigate and resolve order, inventory, and customer service issues.

Print, assemble, and distribute orders according to established guidelines.

Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Assist other customer service functions as needed.

Meet productivity and accuracy goals while maintaining excellent customer service.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

6 months to 5 years of customer service, sales support, or administrative experience.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Willingness to work overtime when needed.
