Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents
- Document care plans, patient observations, and progress notes accurately for ongoing care coordination
Requirements
- Prior experience working preferred, but will train.
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
