CT Technologist

A-Team Solutions is seeking CT Tech’s, for full time contract positions for the VA in Toms River, NJ, for an opportunity we are currently pursuing.
Job Duties:
General duties required for CT:
Requires specific knowledge of cross-sectional human anatomy and its application in spiral, and/or, multi-slice computer tomography, inclusive of 3-D reconstruction scans, including drainages, biopsies, and peripheral vascular examinations. The technologist requires specific knowledge and training in the location, appearance, and function of the various major and minor systems susceptible to radiological illumination; to interpret the examination request accurately; to understand the functioning and inter-relationship of the various organs; to use the methods and techniques which will identify organs appearing on the digital display monitor, or on film, and the various stages of the examination to judge the acceptability of the image and/or scan for diagnostic use and to emphasize the aspects of particular interest to the physician.
Requirements:
Certification – The Contractor’s technologist (s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current certification as required in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. Technologist (s) who work MR, CT must have their advance registry by ARRT. Technician (s) working ultrasound shall be registered by ARDMS.
BLS: The contractor is responsible to ensure compliance with the following: All the contractor’s personnel who provide any services on VA property must maintain BLS certification by a certifying organization acceptable to VA.

Pay: $54.00 - $59.35 per hour
