General Description
Responsible for helping members improve their swimming in a fun environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Instruct swimming lessons.
- Create an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants.
- Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with participants.
- Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments and concerns.
- Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area.
- Maintain order and safety in swimming areas and assist in enforcing club and pool policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience preferred.
- Water Safety Instruction certified
- CPR/AED certifications
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Lifting: Must be able to lift and move 25 lbs sometimes throughout a shift
- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, kneel and demonstrate various swim strokes and techniques throughout the shift.
- Environment: Will be necessary to enter the pool with clients. Must be comfortable working outdoors. Must be comfortable working in loud, high-eneregy environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
