Duties
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs.
- Supervise kitchen staff by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations through regular inspections and adherence to sanitation protocols.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong background in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising experience.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS systems for transaction processing and reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing food production standards.
- Prior high volume experience is highly desirable; catering experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
