Primary Purpose:

Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
-
Degree from accredited college or university

Licensed by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Special Knowledge/Skills:
-
Effective/efficient oral and written communication skills
-
Reliable transportation to/from work and between work-sites
-
Efficient mobility within the work-site
-
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
-
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records

General knowledge of computer systems and software applications

Ability to serve as professional student supervisor
Experience:
-
Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirable
-
One year of experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Use evidence in practice, data collection and documentation.

Provide intervention to support student participation and performance in accordance with state laws and/or professional standards.

Document and maintain service-related records.
