Job Summary
Mindful Minis Daycare is looking for a caring, dependable Toddler Teacher to join our team! We’re seeking someone who is patient, nurturing, and passionate about supporting toddlers as they learn, explore, and grow. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and loving classroom environment while encouraging independence, social-emotional development, and early learning through purposeful play.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for toddlers while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Create and maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support daily routines, including meals, diapering or toileting, nap time, and transitions.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through purposeful play.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members through professional communication.
- Follow KDHE licensing regulations and Mindful Minis policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience working with toddlers or young children is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework is a plus.
- Patient, dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet KDHE licensing requirements.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- Has at least 6 months of licensed childcare experience
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
