Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive oral hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing.
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as needed.
- Assess patient oral health, perform periodontal screenings, and document medical/dental histories accurately.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized home care routines.
- Collaborate closely with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines for infection control and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
- Licensure: Active State Dental Hygienist License in good standing.
- Certifications: Current CPR / BLS Certification; Local Anesthesia / Nitrous Oxide certification preferred.
- Experience: New graduates welcome to apply!
