Luxury Cabin Resort Property Manager
Decorah High Point Cabins | 284 Old Spruce Dr. Decorah, Iowa
Pay: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience, reliability, references, and qualifications
Performance Bonus Opportunity Available
Average Workload: Typically 25-35 hours per week, with some weeks requiring more or less depending on occupancy and seasonal demand.
Typical On-Site Hours: Approximately 11:00 AM-4:00 PM, Sunday-Friday
No regularly scheduled on-site work on Saturdays
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position. Workload varies based on reservations and occupancy. Some days may only require a few hours on-site, while busy turnover days may require a full day.
About the Role
Decorah High Point Cabins is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Property Manager to help maintain and elevate the guest experience across our luxury cabin resort.
This is a hands-on role that combines property management, guest hospitality, quality control, and cabin cleaning. You'll help ensure every guest arrives to a clean, well-maintained cabin and receives the five-star experience our guests have come to expect.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices details others miss, and can be trusted to work independently without constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Clean cabins between guest stays
- Inspect cabins and completed cleanings to ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate and oversee cleaners
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory
- Identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Respond to guest questions and booking inquiries
- Assist guests before, during, and after their stay
- Conduct routine property inspections
- Maintain a consistent five-star guest experience

Preferred Experience
- Hospitality, hotel, resort, Airbnb, or vacation rental experience
- Housekeeping, cleaning, or quality control experience
- Property management or operations experience
- Customer service experience
Candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail will be considered even if they don't have experience in every area listed above.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to clean cabins and perform inspections regularly
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
