Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to join our operations team at a Class A high-rise office building located in downtown Jacksonville. Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Respond to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Support senior engineers with troubleshooting and repairs
- Maintain clean and safe mechanical rooms, work areas, and equipment
- Assist with vendor coordination and building projects as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and building procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred (but not required)
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Professional attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a high-rise environment
Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
