Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment campaigns utilizing social media management, campus outreach, and community events to attract diverse membership candidates.
- Manage volunteer engagement programs, ensuring volunteers are motivated, trained, and effectively supervised to support recruitment efforts.
- Conduct campus recruitment activities, including presentations, informational sessions, and networking events to promote membership benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of membership applications and interactions using Salesforce and Raiser's Edge databases.
- Lead team management efforts by supervising recruitment staff or volunteers, providing training & development opportunities to enhance their skills.
- Utilize public speaking skills to deliver compelling presentations at community events, workshops, or seminars aimed at increasing membership awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to manage social media platforms for outreach campaigns and member engagement initiatives.
- Oversee volunteer management processes, including onboarding, recognition, and retention strategies to foster a strong volunteer community.
Experience
- Proven experience in recruiting or sales roles with a focus on membership growth or volunteer engagement.
- Demonstrated success in campus recruitment or public speaking engagements that drive participation.
- Strong database management experience using Salesforce or Raiser's Edge for tracking applications and member data.
- Previous supervisory or team management experience with a focus on training & development.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating engaging content and reports.
- Experience managing social media platforms for organizational outreach or marketing campaigns.
- Background in social work or community service is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for volunteer management is essential.
