We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage inventory and assist with budgeting to optimize operational costs.
- Oversee the kitchen and bar areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Implement and manage POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Assist in interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the restaurant.
Skills
- Strong background in food service management, preferably in Japanese cuisine background.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to restaurant operations.
- Experience with POS systems to streamline transactions and reporting.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary practices to support the kitchen team effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for training staff and engaging with guests.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role is advantageous.
