Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Tipper Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty tipper trucks and related equipment to efficiently transport and unload materials across various sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, including loaders, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks, will ensure smooth logistics and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to manufacturing, sanitation, or construction projects while maintaining a focus on cleanliness and proper waste management.
Duties
- Operate tipper trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and other heavy machinery to transport materials safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials using loaders, excavators, forklifts, and other heavy equipment with precision and care
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after shifts to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance
- Assist with site cleanup, sanitation efforts, and garbage collection using appropriate vehicles such as garbage trucks or roll-off containers
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely during material handling, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and equipment usage for operational transparency
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and site sanitation standards
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, front loader trucks, or roll-off trucks in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues promptly
- Experience with cleaning tasks associated with sanitation or waste management is preferred
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of operation in outdoor or industrial settings
- Certification in heavy equipment operation or forklift licensing is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
