ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading all warehouse operations for our growing cosmetics manufacturing and distribution business. This individual will oversee Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, Quality Control, and Kitting while driving operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse Leadership
- Direct all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, quality control, and kitting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Develop supervisors and others while creating clear accountability throughout the department.
- Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing employee feedback.
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory aligns with ERP system.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive cycle count program.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor inventory aging and address obsolete and slow-moving inventory
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage strategies.
Receiving Operations
- Manage the receipt of finished goods from manufacturing as well as incoming packaging and component materials.
- Ensure timely put-away of inventory.
- Improve receiving workflows to minimize bottlenecks.
Shipping Operations
- Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately.
- Improve picking routes and warehouse flow.
- Coordinate with Sales and Production regarding shipment priorities.
Quality Control
- Ensure products are inspected for quantity, labeling, and packaging accuracy before shipment.
- Investigate shipping errors and implement preventive measures.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years of proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.
- Experience managing multiple warehouse functions.
- Strong inventory management background.
- Experience with warehouse layout optimization.
- Experience implementing process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve operational goals.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with internal and external individuals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions.

Pay: $128,000.00 - $148,000.00 per year
