Job Summary
The Physical Therapist position at REVO is the core of our service. REVO PTs are masters at their craft who can seamlessly integrate ortho/sport physical skills with advanced strength and conditioning programming and training in order to solve complex patient problems. REVO PT’s must be able to carry out individualized programming as well as perform traditional sports physical therapy assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress towards fully achieving their goals. The Physical Therapist at REVO must also maintain a positive working relationship with other healthcare professionals both internally at REVO as well as within the surrounding community.
Duties
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists when needed. Reviews patients functional needs and adjusts plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicates and refers to other health care specialists and procedures outside of physical therapy when deemed necessary for optimal patient care.
- Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care defined by the state of Colorado.
- Directs the assistance of support staff to fully achieving patients goals.
- Practices departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Maintains proper documents standards for all client evaluations, treatments, and training sessions.
- Enhances professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops. Keeps up to date on professional literature and standards of practice..
- Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote the profession of physical therapy.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and skill sets to care for all clients across the life span appropriate to outpatient ortho/sport setting in both physical therapy and strength and conditioning.
- Successful graduation from an APTA approved physical therapy program with completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Must hold a current physical therapy license from the state of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
- Must be able to execute innovative PT practice techniques with a knack for problem-solving
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients and weights.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
