Infection Prevention Nurse

Job Summary:
Worland Health and Rehabilitation is currently accepting applications for an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse to track and monitor infections in the facility and educate staff regarding infection control policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations
- Observes and teaches the facility infection control policies and procedures
- Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues
- Participates in and contributes meaningful information in all meetings relating to resident care and QA/QI in the facility.
- Maintains all records and data in a neat, organized manner for prompt retrieval.
Education, Licensure and Experience:
- Required: RN / LPN license in Wyoming
- Preferred: Two years' experience in nursing
- Preferred: One year in long-term care,
- Preferred: One-year experience with infection control
- Experience supervising
